Bridal Veil Falls

We came to find that Bridal Veil Falls is not part of Bridal Veil Park.  As both Nunns park and Bridal Veil Park were closed on the day we went (you could walk in, but not drive), we went a few yards up the road to the Bridal Veil Falls.  These are beautiful.  Even in late November, the trails by the falls were busy; runners, bikers, hikers, families, and even pets can be seen.  I was lucky enough to get a little native lure as we explored the area.  According to one Provo native, the falls use to be a busy tourist attraction, even the locals enjoyed the evening riding the tram to a restaurant on the top of the cliffs by the falls.  But many years ago, there was an avalanche, and the area has never been rebuilt.  It is privately owned and there is a "Danger" sign in a inconspicuous place before the trail to the falls.  Even though it is a beautiful scenic area, be careful of the debris left
by the avalanche.  info site
